Perl
Lâs came about as the result of a happy coincidence. A
selection of Mature Caerffili cheeses had become naturally blue.
Intrigued by the unexpected nature of the blueing, Carwyn and
Susanna set out to recapture the particular flavour they had
inadvertently produced so that the taste could be recreated.
Perl
Lâs is unlike any other blue, strong in taste yet delicate
enough to satisfy the most discerning connoisseur. The taste
is a
round creaminess with lingering blue overtones.
