A rind washed semi-soft cheese, washed in cider to produce quite a mild taste when young, but developing a stronger pungency with maturity. Golden Cenarth cheese has a nutty flavour and a unique savouriness. This semi-soft organic cheese comes ready to eat, but if you prefer things a little gooier, pop it in the oven and bake it for 20 mins at 200°C.

We have struggled with this cheese, though not for want of trying. whether its a bad batch or just not our taste we aren't sure.

Gift for a friend.

I have been buying Caws Cenarth cheese for over 25 years as we lived 5 minutes from the farm. I needed to come up with a gift for my cheese loving friend's birthday, and I immediately turned to Caws Cenarth. I chose a selection of the soft cheeses and she was utterly delighted with her gift. The cheese is of exceptional quality and flavour, and in my opinion, it is the best that the UK has to offer.
